Is the sky on the map accurate?
Yes. The map is computed from a published star catalog for the date, time and place you enter, precise to the minute, for any date from 1900 to 2100. It shows the stars that were above the horizon at that moment, whether or not the weather allowed anyone to see them.
Is the map private?
Yes. Your map has an unlisted link that only you hold, and it is excluded from search engines. It is never shown publicly or used as an example. You choose whether to share it, and you can ask us to delete it, and any details you entered, at any time.
The service is in a few days. Can the map be ready?
The digital map arrives by email within minutes, and a local print shop can produce a poster the same day for display at a service. A framed print takes 7 to 12 business days, so for a near date the digital file is the practical choice, with a framed version to follow if you want one.
Which date should I use if I do not want the day they died?
Their birthday is the most common choice, and it keeps the emphasis on their life. A wedding date, the day you met, or the birth of a child they loved all work well. Some people choose an ordinary date that happened to be a happy one. Any of these is right.
Can I send it directly to someone who is grieving?

I do not know the exact time.
