What a star map costs, and what you get
Designing a map costs nothing and needs no card. You choose a date, a time and a place, pick one of the fourteen designs, write your words, and the full map appears on screen. You can stay at that stage as long as you like, download a free watermarked copy, and decide later. There is no account, no trial and nothing recurring.
When you do buy, there are exactly two things to buy. The digital download is $25 and gives you six print-ready files: a PNG and a PDF at 300 DPI in each of the three sizes below. They arrive by email within minutes, carry no watermark, and can be printed as often as you like under the personal-use licence. The framed print starts at $69 and arrives finished: printed at 300 DPI on semi-gloss paper, mounted in a black wood frame behind acrylic, hanging hardware fitted, shipping included.
Adding your own photo inside the map costs $19 on top of either. Nothing else is charged: no setup fee, no per-size fee, no rush fee, and no shipping surcharge to the countries we ship to. Sales tax is added at checkout where the law requires it.
The three sizes
All three share the same 3:4 proportions, so the layout you approve in the preview is what you get at any size, and all three are stock frame sizes in the US.

Every digital order includes all three. In Europe, A3 is close to 12 × 16 and A2 to 18 × 24; print “fit” rather than “fill” and a mat hides the small margin. More in the sizes guide.
Delivery
Digital files: in your inbox within minutes. You get an email with links to all six files, and the Resend page sends them again at any time, for free, for as long as the site exists.
Framed prints: printed to order and shipped free to the US and 40+ countries, usually delivered within 7 to 12 business days, with a tracking link emailed when it ships. Orders outside the US may be charged local import duties on delivery.
If it is not right
Fourteen days, money back: counted from purchase for digital files and from delivery for framed prints. A typo or a wrong date in a digital order is re-rendered free rather than refunded, if you would rather have the map fixed. A print that arrives damaged is reprinted and reshipped free, with nothing to return.

Is there a subscription?
No. You pay once for the files or the print. There are no accounts, renewals or hidden fees.

How much is the photo add-on?
Adding your own photo inside the map costs 19 per map, on any product. It places your picture behind the map, with the stars drawn inside a circle, a moon, a heart or an anatomical heart over it.
Do I pay again for a second size?
No. The 25 digital order includes all three sizes — 12×16, 18×24 and 24×36 inches — as both PNG and PDF, so you can print small for a desk and large for a wall from the same purchase. A framed print is ordered in one size; a second framed size is a second order.
Why is this cheaper than other star map companies?
