Is the sky on the map accurate, or is it a generic star pattern?
It is accurate. Each map is computed from a published star catalog for the date, time and place you enter, precise to the minute, for any date from 1900 to 2100. Two maps for different dates or cities show visibly different skies. The coordinates printed beneath the sky are the ones used in the calculation.
It is December 23rd. Can I still give a star map?
